AIT S-7 Resistance Welding Electrode

The S-7 series is nearly identical to the S-6 series, only differing in that the S-7 has 15 degree angles.   The design is a parallel gap electrode that allows the end user to set the gap width using the weld head. Product comes standard with 15 degree angles and 1.50 inch length. Custom materials are available. Contact the factory for assistance at (870)-269-4367.

AIT S-6 Resistance Welding Electrode

The S-6 series is very similar to the Hughes ESQ design, except the ESQ electrodes are 1.53” long. This design is a parallel gap electrode that allows the end user to set the gap width using the weld head. Product comes standard with 20 degree angles and 1.50 inch length. AIT S-5 Resistance Welding Electrode

The S-5 series was originally developed by Hughes as weld type ESQ series parallel gap electrode that allows the end user to set the gap width using the weld head.  The tips are welded to the shank.  This series was originally designed for use in the Hughes VTA-90 or 96 weld heads, but may fit other similar weld heads as well. AIT S-4 Resistance Welding Electrode

The S-4 series is a parallel gap electrode with an insulator (spacer) that binds the two halves together and establishes the width of the gap. This series utilizes a dual angle design with the side angles being 10 degrees and the top angle being 15 degrees.  Product comes standard at 1.45" long. Custom materials are available. Contact the factory for assistance at (870)-269-4367.

AIT S-3 Resistance Welding Electrode

The S-3 design was the original DUO TIP electrode developed by Hughes Aircraft. This series is a double ended parallel gap electrode with an insulator (spacer) that binds the two halves together and establishes the width of the gap. The Hughes DUO TIP used pins and screws to bind the two halves together. This design uses an adhesive insulator which is a much more economical design that works very well. Custom materials are available. Contact the factory for assistance at (870)-269-4367.

AIT S-2 Resistance Welding Electrode

The S-2 series is a deep access parallel gap electrode with an insulator (spacer) that binds the two halves together and establishes the width of the gap.  This series is usually chosen when the application has tall obstacles around the welding target.   Product comes with 10 degree or 20 degree angles and standard lengths of 1.50" or 2.00".   Custom materials are available.  Contact the factory for assistance at (870)-269-4367.

About Us

Advanced Integrated Technologies is essentially a manufacturing service company with two major divisions. The resistance welding and reflow soldering tool division grew out of our early work building micro tools for Hughes Aircraft. About the time that Microsoft was turning computers into a household item, computer hardware manufacturers were looking for companies to build reflow tools used in the assembly of hard drives and other components.
