Advanced Integrated Technologies (AIT) is a leading manufacturer of electrodes for resistance welding, including for all makes of welders such as Palomar/Hughes, Unitek, Amada, Avio, MacGregor, and Sunstone Engineering. Our efficient manufacturing processes allow us to offer affordable electrodes made from various RWMA materials in both parallel gap and opposed welding types. For over twenty-five years, AIT has specialized in micro resistance welding electrodes. During our early days, we collaborated with Hughes Aircraft to build duo tip and esq style electrodes, which were some of the earliest parallel gap electrodes. Founder Paul Balentine successfully built these tiny electrodes using a micro grinder, and this led to AIT establishing its expertise in micro resistance welding electrodes.

Our micro resistance welding electrodes can be made to match the electrode holder design for any machine. We have single point style round shank electrodes for opposed welding, and parallel gap round shank electrodes like our S20 and S23 style, which are equivalent to Unitek / Amada Unibond C series electrodes. Our other micro resistance welding electrodes are square shank parallel gap electrodes and are available either bonded to an insulator or separate as two individual halves, which allows customers to set the gap spacing with their electrode holder.

We offer a wide variety of electrode designs in our stock that can cater to any application, and these electrodes come with flat or slightly rounded (convex) tip surfaces that are generally suitable without further modifications.
