AIT SLD-6 Reflow Soldering Thermode

The SLD-6 is a one piece flat blade thermode made for use on Avio reflow machines. SLD-6 part numbers below are cross referenced to Avio part numbers. All dimensions are in millimeters. Understanding AIT part numbers is very simple. Various dimensions on the drawing are represented by letters, which correspond to values in the part number. The beginning of the part number establishes the thermode series and material, followed by various dimensions. For example, part number SLD-6-M-A1.0B0.8C1.0-E9-L is a molybdenum tip with an A dimension of 1.0 mm, an E type thermocouple 9” long, and a large phono plug.
