AIT SLD-14 Reflow Soldering Thermode

The SLD-14 is a hot-bar designed for use on both Miyachi Unitek and Avio hot-bar machines with appropriate mounting adaptors. The Avio versions needs an “-AVIO” on the end of the part number to designate that it will be used in an Avio head. The Avio head has a slightly different mounting size. Understanding AIT part numbers is very simple. Various dimensions on the drawing are represented by letters, which correspond to values in the part number. The beginning of the part number establishes the thermode series, followed by various dimensions. For example, part number SLD-14-A2.00B.059-K9-0 is a thermode with an A dimension of 2.00, a K type thermocouple 9” long, and an Omega 2 prong plug.
